“With more than 20 years in nutritional therapy, it seems I have been destined to support people’s health. As a practitioner, I’m on a mission to return to the wisdom of connecting our food to nature and nature to food, with a holistic lens of supporting bio-individuality.

As a mother, wife, sister, aunt, and friend - it was more than 15 years ago I was on an island unto myself seeking alternative remedies to solve contemporary health challenges for my child. Organic was labeled elitist, alternative milk considered curious, and doctors - albeit with the best intentions - were baffled by my questions. I felt discouraged and sought support.

After researching a variety of modalities, I discovered two Functional Medicine doctors, who listened, ran tests, and approached my child's therapies through a holistic lens, not just her symptoms in isolation. To my disbelief, the chronic health issues were resolved and I felt heard, relieved, and inspired by the experience. It took time, patience, and dedication by altering her eating habits to restore and replenish her unique nutritional profile, and thankfully her body responded.

Was the journey easy? No. But what came from it was my mission to create Hello Palate. Inspired and ready to help and coach others with similar health concerns, I approached my new role as a welcoming resource to be your confidant and advocate - your friend if you will - on this wellness journey. After receiving my certification from the Nutritional Therapy Association, and Precision Nutrition, I became a Certified Food Therapy Specialist at The Natural Gourmet Institute and shortly after, Hello Palate was born.” - Michelle Pesce
