Sarah Walker PT, DPT, CMPT
Sarah Walker PT, DPT, CMPT received her Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Scranton. After growing up in Pennsylvania, she and her husband decided to explore the Pacific Northwest. There she worked in an outpatient orthopedic setting in Seattle, studying manual physical therapy to further grow her skills in helping her patients.
She since has returned back east, joining Manhattan Physio Group in the summer of 2016. Sarah believes in a holistic approach for individualized care to facilitate people returning to their activities. She incorporates hands on work, patient education and understanding, evidence-based practice, and selective therapeutic activities to influence recovery.
Sarah has completed the rigorous training and examination through the North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy (NAIOMT) to earn the title of “Certified Manual Physical Therapist” in May of 2017. Dedicated to learning, she attained board certification by the American Physical Therapy Association as an Orthopedic Certified Specialist (OCS) in 2019.
Sarah grew up dancing, and is passionate about working with dance professionals and performers. Sarah also enjoys working with pediatric, adolescent, and young adult age groups. She strives to assist people in become an even better version of themselves. Outside of her practice, Sarah enjoys exploring, spinning, Gyrotonic, yoga, Pilates, dance, and spending time with her family, friends, and dog Gracie.
